There are some huge, well-known directories that should be your first port of call. Google My Business is a great example – it’s free to list your business, and your listing will show up in Google Maps and Google search results.
Another big one is Yelp, which is particularly popular in the US. Again, it’s free to list your business, and you can add photos, opening hours, and other information to help attract customers.
2. Look for niche directories
In addition to the big general directories, there are also lots of niche directories that might be relevant to your business. For example, if you’re a restaurant, you could list your business on Zomato or TripAdvisor. If you’re a tradesperson, you could list on sites like Rated People or MyBuilder.
Do a bit of research to see if there are any relevant niche directories for your business, and then claim your listing.
3. Make sure your listings are accurate and up-to-date
Once you’ve claimed your listings on the big directories, it’s important to keep them up-to-date. Make sure your opening hours, contact details, and other information are all accurate and up-to-date.
You should also consider adding photos, videos, and other content to your listings to make them more attractive to potential customers.
4. Encourage customers to leave reviews
Reviews are essential for helping customers choose your business over the competition. So once you’ve claimed your listings, make sure you encourage customers to leave reviews.
The best way to do this is simply to ask them. You could add a “Review us on Google†or “Leave us a review on Yelp†button to your website or email signature. You could also include a link to your directory listings in your email newsletters.
5. Monitor your listings
Finally, once you’ve claimed your listings and added your information, it’s important to monitor your listings to make sure they are accurate and up-to-date.
You can use a tool like Moz Local to help you track your listings and ensure they are accurate across all the major directories.

After many requests, pricing has been announced. We even created a neat widget to estimate your monthly bill (WebproComponents). Pricing is all preliminary and we definitely want your feedback.
Auto-Redirect SSL
On your project dashboard, you will now see the option to automatically redirect non-ssl requests to ssl. Once enabled, all requests made to your application using non-SSL routes will automatically be redirected to the https version of the same route with a 302 response code.

We love to get feedback and love to talk to you guys about what you expect and want out of a service like ours. In order to keep this tradition going, we have fired up our own Modulus IRC channel with freenode.

Deploy Directory Path
Deploys a directory other than the current directory. The path is optional. Leaving it off will deploy the current directory. Feature requested by Adam Daniels (@fritzthemonkey).
